The founding of this School was on the advice of Zaki Agelaga Nyagba, Head of Zeka family who told the Anglican Bishop of Gboko Diocese His Lordship, Bishop Emmanuel Nyitse, during his first visit of Churches in his domain, having assumed office of the Bishop of the newly created Diocese of Gboko (Anglican Communion) of the need to establish a Secondary School to cater for the large number of Primary School pupils who are unable to proceed further with their education.
Zaki Agelaga Nyagba, on behalf of the entire Zeka family told the Bishop that he is convinced; the Bishop will live up to the task since Anglican church has been doing whatever they promise since they came to this community.
The idea was heartily welcomed by the Anglican Bishop of Gboko, His Lordship, Bishop Emmanuel Nyitse. He immediately sent the Supervisory Priest in charge of Adekaa Parish, Rev. Moses Aba who came with the Parish Priest in charge of St. Joseph Parish Achia, Rev. Pastor Keren to see to the take off of the school.
